Try STA travel. They cover stuff like students going on gap years so do some long term policies (all available to the general public not just for students), cover a lot of actvities you might be doing and are a good price compared to some of the others

I’ve used Worldwide Insure http://www.worldwideinsure.com/ during my backpacking days and had the best terms and conditions when I was backpacking. I still use them for my travel insurance. They were, and still are, very competititevly priced.

Google “cheap travel insurance” - that is what i did and there are heaps to chose from.
Just read what the policy covers. Some don’t cover you in chase of a terrorist attack and some do. I would pay that bit more extra in this day and age, unfortunately!

Hi
Try squaremouth. The site compares hundreds of policies and lets you filter out products that do not provide the correct cover. There is also a feature called “narrow my choice” that allows you to choose individual options for cover right down to hazardous sports.

Type in ‘Backpackers insurance’ into a search engine and you will find a loads of sites all competing to give the cheapest rates, browse around until you find a good one. Definitely the cheapest way to do it.
